Gujarat is important to the UK, it is important politically it is important economically, it is important to us culturally and socially as well. When I had arrived in India few years ago, every business house revealed that they had to invest 6 months training on new employees who join with a “Degree” but need training on Employability Skills. GTEP UK training programs are designed to empower the 21^st Century World of Work Skills.

Training Programs are very vital; GTEP adds to the academic qualification that one receives with some real life skills that will make a difference and what we teach through GTEP programmes with the support extended from the British Deputy High Commission. The objective of the program is to find tomorrow’s leaders, experts, industrialists who are keen to make this state, this country more successful in the future.

From the onset of IFDP, then ISEP and now ICDP, KSV has been an inseparable part of these initiatives and seeks to encourage more of such programs in the future.

The International Development Programs for both Faculties and Students are very vital and could lead to the Creation of 21^st Century Global Citizens who would be capable and readily employable.

GTU Professors has got the special training from the UK Based Institution under International Faculty Development Program conducted by Global Training Education Program in collaboration with British Deputy High Commission. All the participants had a significant learning experience.

There is a considerable Requirement to Reinvent the Teaching Methods in the Indian system of Higher Education in order to meet International Standards.

The International Faculty Development Program is underway and we are fortunate to receive Gujarat Government’s support for this initiative.

Every Professor of our institute who has been trained under the IFDP has had a remarkable learning experience and is very keen on adopting it into the Current teaching Methodology.

The main idea behind the IFDP is to train the faculties with a global approach so that they in turn can train, guide, facilitate and mentor the students.

In 21^st Century, graduates and post graduates are the employable sector. What makes them employable is 21^st Century Work Skills.

In Indian Higher Education, there is a considerable lack of 5 C's in Teaching Methodology. These are Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Clarity of Thought.

There is a growing need to groom students who are potential employees with Employability Skills as mere Academic Degrees are not enough to survive in the 21^st Century World of Work.

India is a rapidly growing evolving economy. In today’s times we must focus on Experiential Learning and Student Centric Andragogy.

It has been a great opportunity to have the esteemed presence of British Deputy High Commissioner, Geoff Wain to support our Faculty Development Program and give it an International Dimension which is the Need for today’s Age of Globalization.

The IFDP & ISEP implement and promote APPLIED EDUCATION which is very beneficial and vital.

The 21^st Century Higher Education is all about Student Mobility, Exchange and Internships.

The IFDP has trained 200 Professors of our University with Global Teaching Methodology.

Through the IFDP, our institution got the opportunity to explore the world class techniques, methodologies and infrastructure that support student achievement.

The IFDP lays special emphasis of inculcating employability and skills enhancement in students with the help of trained faculty members whereby they are able to connect university and industry together.

The IFDP has highlighted the significance of Integrating Skills into the system of Higher Education.

The IFDP has groomed our faculty members for skills base training and employability in India.

Our Institution has received a wonderful Learning Experience through the IFDP.

There has been a special Emphasis placed on the development of positive work habits and attitudes, as well as the acquisition of entrepreneurial, interpersonal and communication skills (Life Skills) through the IFDP.
